Sri. B. V. Narasimhaiah is a distinguished social activist, film producer, and public figure who has rendered notable service in the fields of social development, cultural preservation, and public life in the State of Karnataka.
Born on 01 June 1964, and holding a Bachelor of Arts degree, Sri. Narasimhaiah entered public life at a young age and has remained actively engaged in social and political service for more than three decades. He began his journey in public service in the early 1990s and went on to serve as the General Secretary of the Karnataka State Vokkaliga Youth Forum, contributing significantly to youth mobilization and community leadership.
Sri. Narasimhaiah has been closely associated with the Indian National Congress and has played an active role in strengthening democratic institutions at the grassroots level. He has worked extensively in Village Panchayat, Taluk Panchayat and Zilla Panchayat elections, as well as in the MLA, MLC and Parliamentary elections across Bengaluru Urban and Rural districts. His organizational skills, commitment, and leadership have supported numerous successful electoral campaigns, contributing meaningfully to democratic governance.
In recognition of his dedication to the welfare of farmers and rural communities, Sri. Narasimhaiah currently serves as the State General Secretary of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Kisan Committee. He has also served as the State Organizing Secretary of the Indian National Trade Union Congress, advocating for the rights and welfare of the working class.
Beyond public service, Sri. Narasimhaiah has made valuable contributions to culture and education through cinema. As a film producer, he produced the acclaimed film “Sree Kshetra Adichunchanagiri”, which documents the life and legacy of Sri Sri Sri Dr. Balagangadharanatha Swamiji, the former head of the Adichunchanagiri Mutt. The film highlights the Mutt’s unparalleled contribution to education and healthcare through its extensive network of institutions across India. He has also produced a feature film involving several distinguished public representatives of the State, thereby promoting cultural dialogue and public awareness.
An entrepreneur by vision, Sri. Narasimhaiah has established and managed ventures in industrial gases, small-scale manufacturing, land development, and construction. He has also set up a film studio near Bengaluru and has created infrastructure for the establishment of an educational institution, reflecting his enduring commitment to knowledge dissemination and social upliftment.
